Outside Pocket

I began writing a new tune each week for a gig at a local restaurant. My trio snuck in the new tunes with the jazz standards that were our normal fare. I soon had two dozen songs and a growing sense that I might have something worthwhile. 

With the help of Steve Talaga, I was able to assemble an allstar cast of Grand Rapids jazz musicians. Each of these players has earned the community’s respect for their talent, experience, and taste. With a group like this, it was hard to go wrong! Outside Pocket was formed!
